Nove and Peanut

Too Busy to Post!

This last week was very busy so I didn't have time to post. But, I did take lots of pictures to remember everything going on!

Nathaniel and I love skinny jeans on Nove. I hate the way regular jeans fits babies because they are so bulky. My mom bought some for Nove from Gap this week and Nove loved playing with the plastic baggies all the clothes came in. She is going to love shopping just like her momma!

I was able to finally get a picture of her teeth coming in!

Last week, the photographer from my wedding Hagerty Photography , emailed me letting me know we still had a credit on our act for prints. She sent me a disk with the rights to my photos for it. I'm so excited to go through and decide what to print. I can't believe we were married over two years ago! Here are a few pictures I saw that I love

Laughing Puppy

Nove got a toy for Christmas  and she loves it! Its a puppy that makes laughing sounds while it rolls, she loves to try to chase it and hold it down. Here is a video I took of her today. She is so funny trying to decide how to get to the puppy.

Night out!

Last night, we went to Mesa's Second Saturday. Its an event  in down town Mesa, where there is art and street vendors. We went with our good friends the The Listons . Our friend Drew was being featured in a project called 12by30. Where 12 artist created one piece of art for 30 days making 365 pieces of art as a whole.  We also checked out this coffee/ comic book shop called Gothem City Comics and Coffee. Being  we all all pretty nerdy( the boys especially ) this was really cool! They had tons of comics, fan art,and all kinds of collectors items!

Not single, but Double!

Noves been sick since last Friday night. Saturday morning we took her to the doctor and we were told it was just a bad cold. However she has started to throw up, we found out yesterday she has a double ear infection! The doctor gave her a shot, and literally in just a few hours, she went from crying and being in pain to crawling around playing and giggling. Oh my goodness, modern medicine is pretty cool.Last night we took a video of her almost crawling, I will add it later when nathaniel gets home from work, he took it on his phone. Yesterday, I went to coffee with my two sisters ( Jessica & Becca) we always go on Wednesday, so we can stay close. Novey has a blasty, she loves attention from her aunts, and is a big girl in a high chair now! Novey is teething like crazy. She has two teeth coming in and they are so sharp!

I can't beleive she was ever in my tummy.

Stay at home mommy

This week has been such a roller coaster. Nathaniel has started training for his new position  at work and that's such a blessing. Unfortunately, his new position has new hours that conflict with my work schedule. I had to leave my job. I am now a full time stay at home mommy.  For most, that would be awesome... for most, people don't like their jobs. I love my job. I work with children with developmental delays. I love the family I work for. I have been working with them for two years. I am really attached and it will be strange not seeing them every day. Luckily, Nove is really good at keeping me busy so I don't have time to be sad about it. I think she got sick on purpose so she would need extra attention. She just selfless like that ;) Now, that I am a stay at home mommy, I am going to try to post on this blog daily.. and try to get a new hobby or something.  My husband is so amazing for working hard all day while I get to spend time with our daughter. I really feel like we have been blessed.

Very Sick Very Tired

Nove has come down with a tough cold this week. I wish I could fix her. She cries when she coughs and really screams when I wipe her nose. Its made her tired all the time. As sad as I am that she is sick, I still took a picture of her passed out. I put her in her Bumpo seat while I do the dishes and she usually plays while we make faces at each other.

One moment she was playing and the next she was sleeping. She would of slept like for hours if I let her.

Hello!

I decided to make a blog about life with Novella. Every day she shows me something new and I felt like sharing it .I thought for my first post it would be fitting to do a little update of her life for the last six months. I think I will just use pictures, maybe a little stories.. six months is a very long period of time!

Novella Mable Ellen Brooks Born on July 24, 2010

My labor started on July 23 at 11am. I couldn't sleep all that night because I couldn't wait for her to come! She was born the next morning on July 24.

 These are her first skinny jeans!

 Every October, we have a pumpkin carving party with the Liston Family. These were at the pumpkin patch.

Christmas! We are so blessed with a huge family that adores Nove. It was a perfect end to the year !
